A Photo a Day 2020 #165

Taken in St. James' Park, London a short break away before the pandemic broke out, this is a happy memory for me. These pelicans were happy to be photographed and just incredible to see in real life.

Frank

I met Frank last Summer by the river. He was hanging out on the wall and had no qualms about demanding attention (and birdseed) from me. I hope we meet again this Summer.

St. James' Park

This was taken a few weeks ago on a trip to London. St. James' Park is the place to be if you want to see some top birds! Ducks, swans, geese, pelicans-- it's an ornithological haven.

Cygnet Grey

This was taken last year, but I never posted it. Looking through my camera's memory card, one of these cute photos had to feature. This one's composition shows the protective nature of the mother. There were a few clearer and close zoom-ins on the cygnets, but this one was a little more interesting as an image. Still working on my nature photography camera skills.

Seagull Grey
A sassy seagull taken with my telephoto lens. I love trying to photograph birds with it as you can get in fairly close. It isn't a heavy or high spec lens, but it manages to capture some nice detail nevertheless. It's really fun to use!

Getting Back into Photography

2017 was the year I really got into photography. Since then, I have still had a love for taking photos, but my 'Triptych a week' project came to an abrupt end only a few weeks into 2018- life took over.
