Busy Again

I took this with my zoom lens as I didn't have my macro and the detail I picked up was great. I shot with approximately a 1.3x zoom. The colours were played up in editing and I also applied a gaussian blur with a soft light filter in Photoshop. I'm pleased with this.

Cuckoo Spit

I believe this is cuckoo spit- froth created by Froghopper Nymphs- but I am not sure as it usually is not so beautifully transparent.

My mum would like this one! A minute little garden ornament shot with my macro. I'm really pleased with the quality and the colour balance I achieved to add some 'magic' to the background.

I took this at the weekend whilst playing around with my new macro lens. It is actually quite a skill to hold still enough for perfect crispness. In the future, I may get a tripod or some kind of kit to help with this.
This beautiful flower was part of an arrangement inside a conservatory. The background blur is the garden behind. Do you notice a February theme? Colour is certainly something I'm seeking out at the moment (probably caused by the horrible bleakness I've felt this Winter). Roll on Spring!
