Make-up Palette storage solution: white filigree
I am a fan of acrylic storage and own quite a lot, but today's post is focused on palette storage. On the right you can see the letter rack that I have been using for my palettes for quite some time now. I like the white filigree design with butterflies and it fits well with the rest of my (acrylic) storage. The beauty of this is that you can bend the metal partitions to allow for more width in particular sections where you want to store a few palettes together. I believe I got this from Wilkinsons, but you could find this sort of thing in many shops selling stationery.
Today I picked up this filigree basket from The Range for a few pounds to match my palette holder. Like many of you make-up collectors out there probably find, I'm constantly wanting to revise and improve my storage solutions to make the most of my collection. My poor Bobbi Brown Ultra Nude Palette, which is absolutely gorgeous, has been unloved and even been battered and broken because it was too small and slim to live in the letter rack and often just got lost, sandwiched between other palettes. Not any more! It is now pride of place in my basket where I can access it easily and enjoy it.
How do you store your make-up palettes?
My makeup palettes never really have a home so these are such a good idea! Wilkinsons is great for stuff like this, I'll definitely be on the look out!
