Volumizing Sprays: 3 reviews

I always find it slightly unfortunate that I have hair with such contradictory qualities! It is both frizzy and wild in its natural state; but also very thin, fine and flat at the roots. In the 90s, I fought my barnet tooth and nail to keep it straight and smooth, but now I'm older (and voluminous hair is the thing) I like to try and encourage the waves and curls, when I'm feeling patient, that is.
Volumizing sprays are very popular right now, so here's my opinion of three that I've tried:
Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray: The expensive one This is very hyped up among the blogging community, or at least it has been in the last year or so. This is a light spray that doesn't feel sticky, but it does give hair 'grip' and (as the name suggests) sprays on as a dry formulation. I really like this and it does build up some volume to the roots and the lengths. It is nicely perfumed with a unisex, but not overly cologne-like fragrance. I have used up a small can of this and may treat myself to it again, but at nearly £20 for a small size, it is not something I can easily justify re-purchasing regularly. 9.5/10 
Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish Spray: The mid-priced high end one The reason that I'm writing this post now is that I've also recently used up a full-size can of this volumizing spray as well as the Oribe one. I wanted to wait until I'd used these products over a series of months to give a fair comparison. I alternated my use of the products so that I could compare the sprays side by side. This is also fragranced beautifully and gives my roots some grip and volume. There is definitely a sense that I have product in my hair when I use both these types of extremely fine quality of my hair) it can feel a little like candy-floss, if over-applied. However, this makes my hair look quite a lot more fuller- something that I love because on second-day hair, my hair can look lank and thin. This definitely does a good job at making me feel more confident. Due to the more affordable price, I think this will be the spray I'll re-purchase soon. 9/10 
Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Texturizing Spray: The more affordable one Priced at £6.99, this is the winner when it comes to value for money. It is fragranced with a slightly more floral scent, but not too sweet. In terms of feel on the hair, it can quickly build up to a more matted feel than the more expensive sprays. With this in mind, it is advisable to spray from a distance and spray conservatively if you have fine hair. It can begin to feel a bit like hairspray at the roots and benefits from being combed out and re-fluffed to stop hair from being weighed back down. Nevertheless, this does the job well and receives a lot of positive reviews. Personally, I prefer the other two sprays because I find them to give texture a bit better on my hair type, but I would definitely try this out before looking to more expensive options. 8/10
