South Downs Walk

Today was the start of 'Get Active for Summer' aka the school holidays. 

Hampshire has some spectacular countryside and today we did a 3k walk around Old Winchester Hill. 

It was lovely and sunny with a light breeze: perfect for a walk. The route we took included down and uphill paths (my little legs just about managed it!).

Our path took us through some cool woodland and this tree was particularly impressive.

This is a great walk for less hardcore hikers, but you can do various treks around this stunning area. I'm sure I'll be visiting the Downs again soon.
