Selfie

I took this in my dark bedroom. In pure selfie style, I took about one hundred variants of this photo. I was aiming to get some nice colour bokeh from the flash- which kind of worked- alongside the polaroid-style framing that the wardrobe has created for me. I could have composed this better by being central, however this is reflective of the lack of balance we all feel at times; and this is really a diary project. November has probably been the hardest month yet for finding time for this hobby, what with workload, illness and decreased daylight hours. I need vitamin D.

Green-eyed Monster

This is a shot that I took while messing around and trying some different 'self-portrait' shots. I liked the blurring in this particular shot because the bokeh effect appeared as blue and yellow circles. Not a pretty representation of green eyes, but an interesting one.

I asked my partner to name this one! I like the blur of the figure, but the trees could be crisper. I new a tripod. This was taken at Porchester Castle. It's a lovely place for a walk by the water and you can walk around the castle grounds.

Waiting

Waiting in the car in the car park of a supermarket. Early evening and the light was fading whilst it poured it down. I hate how bleak it is at this time of year, however the colours are great. I put a magenta filter over it to bring some warmth.
