Summer

I've played around with colour here in post production (fading bits and amping bits), but, yes, my eyes were disgustingly bloodshot and sore. Using a macro lens, this was a shot that focused on the lashes, blurring the eyeball a bit, which gave the colours more of a pastel look that I thought was interesting.

Yellow Iris

This was cropped from a larger picture of Maisie. Her eye colour has been enhanced a small amount because she was right in front of a window and the light bleached out the beautiful yellowy colour. I absolutely adore her face.

Intruder Grey

The third of the photos that made the cut from Sunday's impromptu photo-taking session, this is a view of the light reflecting onto the wall of the kitchen. The amazing rainbows that are created in the afternoon when bright sunlight comes through the window is quite magical. I didn't capture the rainbow colours, but chose to focus on the contrast between the warm and cool shades of the dimly lit room in the background and the slate grey of the foreground.

Garden Grey
